Mitigate Automated Attacks Using ThreatRadar
ThreatRadar is a new service that complements Imperva's SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF).
ThreatRadar helps organisations effortlessly defend against large, automated attacks uch as those initiated by bot networks. By incorporating information on known malicious sources into the WAF, ThreatRadar allows organisations to benefit from information about attacks on external websites. So you don't have to wait until the threat reaches your environment.
As Imperva's SecureSphere WAF receives attack information, ThreatRadar dynamically adjusts security policies to alert on or block malicious traffic. All before an attack is launched.
ThreatRadar delivers accurate and constantly updated protection against multiple threats, including:
- Malicious traffic sources that repeatedly perform malicious activity elsewhere. Over ten million botnets have executed attacks on behalf of remote hackers already.
- Anonymous proxies that hide the true traffic source identity, and are often used maliciously to launch attacks. This also applies to traffic using The Onion Router (TOR) networks.
- Real-time alerts on phishing activity on your domain
ThreatRadar provides timely information about attack incling known malicious domains and an overview of attacker geographic locations.

The Key Benefits of ThreatRadar are:
- Global aggregation of attack source data from reputable providers
- Automated, dynamic adjustment of security policies
- The ability to block traffic from malicious sources before an attack is attempted
- Visibility into phishing attacks on your website
- Forensic information on attacks thwarted by ThreatRadar
